Charly De Chicago is a visionary producer and one of the pioneers of Kumbia Editada, also known as Wepa, influencing the scene since 2009. Rooted in the sounds of Kumbia Sonidera, he has helped define the genre's modern sound through his creative, rhythm-driven edits.

From crafting original tracks like “AKORDION MATON”, to remixes and exclusive edits, Charly De Chicago is an influential kumbia producer who has played a key role in transforming traditional kumbia into the bold, high-energy world of Kumbia Editada. He is also credited with flipping the “C” in Cumbia to a “K,” a symbolic shift that marked the birth of this reimagined and rebellious sound.
